At the heart of Croydon since it was founded by Joshua Allder in 1862, Allders of Croydon is the UK's third largest department store and has the fifth largest perfumery department. Since it was purchased by Jaeger owner Harold Tillman, the store has gone from strength to strength. Allders is a sparkling emporium offering customers a one-stop-shop for everything from furniture, beds, large and small electrical, lighting and furnishings, audio and TV. Ladieswear and accessories, menswear, childrenswear, toys and games, china and glass, restaurants, tea room, personal shopper service and so much more; not forgetting our haberdashery department, still going strong after 149 years!
